Info about my pond
Pond construction began the spring of 1995. It was slow
and hard work but as things started to shape up I forgot how difficult the digging was.
It took about two weeks to dig the hole and another three
to four weeks to instal the liner rocks and landscape.
Dimensions of the pond are: 18 feet long, 9 feet wide
and 36 inches deep.
It holds about 2,800 gallons of water and at the present
time there are 14 koi that are about 10 to 12 inches long.

I had little knowledge about building a pond and I soon
realized I needed to research this project a lot more. So I went to my local fish store, talked to the people there and bought
a few books on pond building. This really helped and made me realize how little I knew about constructing a pond. Well,
eight weeks later, my pond was completed. It was one of the most satisfying projects I had ever undertaken, and without a
doubt, the most rewarding.
